Jo Swinson, local MP for East Dunbartonshire, took part in the High School of Glasgow’s Health Awareness Day yesterday morning.
Jo joined pupils bright and early to take part in an aerobic start-up session in the playground with the whole school.
High School of Glasgow’s annual Health Awareness Day includes a number of activities, sports and talks from visiting health specialists for pupils to enjoy.
Commenting, Jo said:
“It was good to see all the pupils having a great time at the aerobic warm-up, which I can testify certainly got the heart pumping! The school had put together a really impressive programme of talks and lessons, including the one I had the opportunity to observe on how the brain works. I applaud the work put in by the staff, and indeed by the many parents and friends of the school who volunteered their time, to make the day such a success.
