Reuse and Recycling: Great use for old plastic film canisters

Solar Aid have come up with methods to recycle old film canisters and plastic film pots, to be used in the manufacture of their micro-solar panels as covers for terminal blocks. Solar Aid can use as many film pots as they can get hold of, as long as they have tight-fitting lids.

However, with conflicting information from so many sources, people are understandably confused about where to go for information and advice. The Energy Saving Trust is attempting to address this confusion by offering consumers a single, independent and trusted source for all their energy saving advice and information. We are now clearly seen as the leading independent adviser offering energy saving advice to consumers - dealing with millions of people annually. No-one else has an ability to independently verify energy saving attributes of products and this year we've already supported numerous companies with our verification work.
