Jo is looking for the most popular curry
Jo Swinson MP has been asked to nominate the most popular curry house in the East Dunbartonshire constituency as part of a nationwide search.
The Tiffin Cup is an annual competition to find the best South Asian restaurant in the country. Jo is inviting constituents to send in their nominations for favourite Indian, Bangladeshi or Pakistani restaurant to her office at 4 Springfield House, Emerson Road, Bishopbriggs, G64 1QE, or by email to email@example.com.
The restaurant with the most nominations will be invited to join others from around the country at a special cook-in in London, where the overall winner will be chosen. As well as receiving the 2005 Tiffin Cup, the winning restaurant will be given a year’s supply of Cobra Beer.
Jo said, “We are lucky to have some excellent South Asian restaurants in East Dunbartonshire. With such a terrific prize, as well as the promise of a commendation for every national finalist, competition for this prize will be hot.”
“The competition is supporting the Roko Cancer Appeal for the first mobile breast cancer unit in India. Curry connoisseurs will be able to enjoy outstanding cuisine and support a good cause at the same time.”
