Jo comments on Milngavie BID decision

Commenting on the news than Milngavie businesses backed plans to turn the precinct into a Business Improvement District Jo said:

“It’s fantastic that Milngavie precinct will become a Business Improvement District.

“Now local businesses will have a greater say in how the town centre is managed in order to increase footfall and improve the individuality and the appearance of the village. It will help bring more businesses, jobs and vitality to the town.

“Congratulations to Ian Lavrie and the rest of the BID steering group who have worked tirelessly on this ballot and the one in 2011.  I look forward to seeing the BID come into being for the benefit of our community.”
