MP visits precast concrete experts

Local MP Jo Swinson visited Robeslee Concrete in Kirkintilloch recently for a tour and to meet the team.

Robeslee Concrete was founded in 1967, but moved to Kirkintilloch in 1979. It is an independent manufacturer that creates precast concrete products. They make a huge number of the lintels, stairs and windowsills used by the Scottish construction industry, so you have probably seen their work without realising!

New Post Office coming to Woodilee

A new Post Office branch is to open next month in Woodilee Village Store, Lenzie.

The new service, located in the SPAR at Woodilee, will be one of the Post Office’s ‘local style’ branches with a low-screened, open-plan Post Office service point integrated into the retail counter. Customers will be able to carry out a wide range of Post Office transactions alongside retail purchases.
