Grievances aired at Jo's ScotRail meeting

Earlier this month, Jo summoned ScotRail’s managing director to a public meeting in Milngavie. The Milngavie line has been plagued by late and cancelled trains and consistently performs poorly. Most recently it has become the worst in Scotland for trains arriving on time.

Jo visits Glasgow business affected by Home Office decision

East Dunbartonshire MP Jo Swinson recently visited Innocent Clothing in Glasgow to talk to owner and constituent Mohammed Wali about Home Office interference. Mr Wali has had his ability to sponsor visas following a routine check by a a Home Office compliance officer. This puts in jeopardy the livelihoods of the two talented, dedicated long-serving workers that the company sponsored visas for, and has had a knock-on impact on the rest of the business.
