Marie Curie Cancer Care's Blooming Great Tea Party, launched by Jo in Bishopbriggs, has raised over £1,348 for the charity. Jo took part in a launch event for Marie Curie Cancer Care's Blooming Great Tea Party campaign at Bishopbriggs Asda earlier this month, helping raise over £1,348.88. The Campaign encourages people to set up their own tea parties to raise money to help provide nursing care and support for the terminally ill. Commenting, Jo said: "I really enjoyed the Bishopbriggs tea party and I'm delighted that we were able to raise so much for cancer care. I thoroughly recommend setting up your own - they are a fun and sociable, while raising money for a very good cause. You can find out more about how to do it at Marie Curie's website www.mariecurie.org.uk. The campaign continues until the 12th of July so there's still plenty of time to get involved."
