Jo raises the baton with Dunbartonshire Concert Band

Jo tried her hand at conducting at a rehearsal of the Dunbartonshire Concert Band on Saturday.

Members of the band were joined by Jo as they rehearsed for a concert to take place that afternoon at Mugdock Country Park.

The band will be playing their Summer Concert at Cairns Church at 7:30pm on 27th June 2010.

Commenting Jo said:

"The Band was fantastic, as ever, although I'm not sure the same could be said of my conducting. They've been going for 37 years now and are a real asset to the community. I would urge people to get along to their Summer Concert on the 27th June, where they will be playing a medley of film music - from what I heard on Saturday it's going to be great."
