Parliamentary expenses published online4.03.00pm BST (GMT +0100) Thu 31st Jul 2008 Jo Swinson has chosen to publish her Parliamentary expenses online from today. The figures, available on this site, show Jo's expenses as a Member of Parliament from 1st April to 30th June. The expenses will be published on this site on an ongoing basis every three months. Commenting, Jo said: "Transparency is an absolutely fundamental requirement for responsible, accountable public service. The image of politics at Westminster and beyond has been tarnished by recent events like the Derek Conway expenses scandal. "The only way politicians can hope to regain public trust is through systematic openness and accountability.
