Jo praises Canniesburn nursing staff

Jo Swinson has praised the dedication of staff at Canniesburn Nursing Home.

Jo met residents at the home in Bearsden today and spoke to staff about the successes and challenges of the nursing home.

Jo said:

"Each of Canniesburn Nursing Home's residents receive individual care and attention from the home's hard-working, dedicated staff. The staff deserve great credit for their efforts to care for their elderly residents. The home is currently building an extension that will allow more members of the community to enjoy the same high level of care in their old age.

"Canniesburn Nursing Home has residents ageing from 79 right up to 102. Given the need to care for residents in old age, it is reassuring that in Bearsden and Milngavie we have excellent facilities like Canniesburn Nursing Home to fulfil this vital role."
