The group quizzed Jo on her role as an MP

Jo Swinson met with members of the East Dunbartonshire Youth Senate in Bishopbriggs this evening, to discuss the provision of local amenities and other issues affecting young people. Commenting afterwards, Jo said:

"It is really encouraging that young people are seeking a voice for their opinions to be heard through the Youth Senate.

"I am pleased that young people in East Dunbartonshire are being consulted on issues relevant to them and I am happy to support the group in my role as MP, as they seek to improve services for young people and influence change in their communities.

"Any young people looking to join the group should contact Sarah Stocks at East Dunbartonshire Council on 0141 761 4807."
