Jo responds to Ming Campbell's resignation

Commenting on Ming Campbell's resignation from the Liberal Democrat leadership, Jo Swinson said:

"I am sorry to see Ming Campbell resign as leader of the Liberal Democrats. I would have liked him to continue as leader, but he clearly feels that by stepping down he is, as he has always done, putting the interests of the Liberal Democrat party first and foremost.

"Ming remains a strong, talented figure who I am sure will continue to make a considerable contribution at Westminster."
