Jo Swinson hails 'World's Biggest Coffee Morning'

Jo met with members of Bearsden Baptist Church

Jo Swinson MP has joined with members of Bearsden Baptist Church Group to celebrate 'The World's Biggest Coffee Morning'.

Held in aid of Macmillan Cancer Support the event was just one of hundreds of coffee mornings held around the country this morning.

Commenting after the event, Jo said:

"I was delighted to be able to attend one of the many coffee mornings taking place this morning right across the country. It is an excellent way to improve awareness and raise money for a vitally important cause.

"Congratulations to Janette Henry and the organisers of the event. A healthy amount of coffee and cake was consumed, and healthy amount of money raised.

"It is great to think of all the fundraising going on in aid of this worthy cause at the many coffee mornings being held around the country today."
