Jo positive about Happitots parenting programme

Happitots Nursery has been open in Bishopbriggs since 2000

Happitots Nursery received praise from Jo Swinson when the East Dunbartonshire MP visited the childcare centre in Bishopbriggs today.

Jo singled out the nursery's Positive Parenting Programme, which is being set up in conjunction with East Dunbartonshire Council and aims to help and include parents in the childcare process, for special praise.

Commenting after the visit, Jo said:

"Happitots Nursery provides a valuable service for children and parents in Bishopbriggs. The nursery's pets help the children learn about responsibility as they take a hand in caring for the animals.

"The nursery's Positive Parenting Programme, currently in its early stages, shows how Happitots is going the extra mile to involve parents as fully as possible in the care and wellbeing of their children."
