Jo Swinson visited Milngavie Farmers Market on a fact-finding mission today, listening to the views of a range of stallholders, both local and from further afield. Speaking after the visit, Jo said that the overall impression she had received was that the market was performing well, though had the potential for significant expansion.

Jo has campaigned to protect farmers' markets in East Dunbartonshire, particularly in Kirkintilloch. The Kirkintilloch Market is not currently running, but partly thanks to Jo's campaign a deal has been secured that will see the market resume in the Regent Centre car park from next month.
