Child Support Agency bonuses reward chaos and inefficiency4.23.16pm GMT Fri 9th Feb 2007 A Parliamentary Question by the Liberal Democrats has uncovered £25m of bonuses paid to CSA staff over the past 5 years. Commenting on the news, Jo said: "This revelation is yet another slap in the face for the thousands of Scottish families who are having to go without because of the CSA's failure to collect the money they are rightfully owed. "The CSA has been chaotic and ineffective since its creation. What exactly is being rewarded? "The Agency's responsibilities must be handed over to the Treasury as soon as possible. The Department of Work and Pensions must ensure that none of the debt owed is written off." Related Links:David Laws's question about bonuses paid CSA staff. Liberal Democrats - pensions & benefits
