Jo to appear on BBC Newsnight

Jo Swinson is to appear on the BBC's Newsnight programme, in a special debate from Parliament Hall in Edinburgh to mark the 300th anniversary of the Act of Union, to be broadcast live on BBC 2 on Tuesday, 16th January.

The programme will feature some of Scotland's most prominent cultural and political figures.

Ahead of the debate, Jo commented:

"I am very much looking forward to the programme."

"The next few months will be crucial in determining the future of the historic union between England and Scotland, and I welcome the opportunity to put across my views on national television."
