Jo Swinson MP will appear tonight Any Questions, BBC Radio 4's flagship news and current affairs debate programme.

The programme will be aired live at 8pm this evening, from Shouldham in Norfolk. Jo will be joined by fellow panellists Conservative MP and former Secretary of State for the Environment John Gummer, businessman and Labour Peer Lord Haskins and Daily Telegraph journalist Simon Heffer.

Ahead of the programme, Jo commented:

"I am very much looking forward to tonight's programme.

"The very serious news about the identification of H5N1 avian flu in Fife, as well as Amnesty International's recent report shedding light on the use of UK airports for US Rendition flights, mean we will be debating issues of the highest importance."
