Comment from Jo over her appointment as Shadow Secretary of State for Scotland

Following the announcement of her appointment as Shadow Secretary of State for Scotland, Jo commented:

"I am obviously delighted to be appointed Shadow Secretary of State for Scotland, and look forward to challenging the Government on a number of issues, particularly Scotland's energy needs and the future of the Post Office network north of the border.

"In his new shadow cabinet, Ming has assembled a strong, talented team, possessing a vigorous combination of fresh ideas and experience."
