Comment from Jo on her meeting with Marks and Spencers management:

"In a meeting held with Marks and Spencer managers, I urged them to look in detail at a range of options for development. I was encouraged by assurances that they remain open to a number of possibilities at this stage, and am also pleased that working towards accommodating M&S is an ongoing concern of East Dunbartonshire Council's planning department.

"An M&S development in Bishopbriggs town centre would be an exciting prospect, and I feel this option must be fully explored."
