Bus fares for pensioners are being dramatically reduced thanks to the delivery of yet another manifesto commitment from the Scottish Liberal Democrats.

The Lib Dems are celebrating another victory for Scottish pensioners as elderly travel concessions are brought in.

Jo Swinson, Lib Dem Parliamentary Spokesperson for Strathkelvin & Bearsden said:

"Liberal Democrats are determined to see an improvement in the quality of life for elderly people in Scotland. Cheaper travel is just the latest in a long line of achievements made by the Liberal Democrats on behalf of Scotland's pensioners."

The Lib Dems have already received a great deal of praise for achieving free personal care for the elderly and a free central heating programme aimed at reducing cold-related deaths in the elderly population.
