Leading free personal care campaigner Jo Swinson has welcomed the steps taken by the Liberal Democrats to guarantee free care funding.

Liberal Democrats in the Scottish Parliament won free personal care for the elderly after continued efforts to secure agreement from their Labour coalition partners.

Jo said:

"Free personal care is one of the most significant achievements made by the Scottish Parliament since its creation. It is unacceptable that it should be jeopardised by a funding limit."
