“I am delighted that 12 local businesses have taken advantage of another Government initiative to boost access to finance. Not only will these entrepreneurs receive funding but they will also have tailored support and advice to navigate the process of setting up and establishing a business.

“Our local businesses are growing in confidence and are driving the improved economic performance. Half of local employers told me they intend to recruit more staff in 2015 and reforms by the Liberal Democrats in the Coalition Government, like £2,000 help with national insurance payments, are helping Scottish businesses hire and retain more quality staff.”
