Jo Swinson MP has reached the end of her summer tour, after speaking to local people at various places around East Dunbartonshire.

On the tour, Jo visited schools, shops, sheltered housing, railway stations and other landmarks around East Dunbartonshire to meet local residents and hear their concerns.

Commenting, Jo Swinson said:

“It was great to meet lots of local residents during my summer tour week out and about in East Dunbartonshire, and hear about the issues concerning people, such as Tesco’s plans for Milngavie, the condition of local roads, and the future of Bishopbriggs town centre.

“Meeting people face to face is one of the most important parts of my job as East Dunbartonshire’s MP, and I hope this year’s summer tour has given those people who may not normally think of coming to one of my weekly surgeries the opportunity to speak to me.”
