Commenting Jo said:
“While at 2.8% East Dunbartonshire has a low rate of unemployment compared with many other areas, there are still more than 1100 local residents on Job Seekers Allowance and looking for work. As East Dunbartonshire’s MP, I am determined to get people into jobs – this is even more important in these difficult times.
“I’m glad to say that this year, more opportunities than ever have been available to give people the skills and experience they need to find their way into employment.
“The Get East Dunbartonshire Working launch event will help businesses navigate the support available from Government initiatives and provide a step-by-step guide on how to access them.”
