With a trip to Parliament approaching for some of the pupils of Bishopbriggs Academy, Jo Swinson MP called in to answer questions and hear about their current work
Meeting the S4 pupils first, who are currently looking at work on foreign affairs and international development topics, Jo took questions ahead of some of the pupils’ visit to Parliament next week. She then saw S3 pupils, who heard about her work as an MP as part of their current Living in Democracy studies.
Commenting, Jo Swinson said:
“I was delighted to meet pupils at Bishopbriggs Academy. As always, they asked lively and intelligent questions, on everything from foreign aid to higher education, and from the future of the local town centre to my views on the Monster Raving Loony Party! It’s great that some of the pupils are coming down to Parliament next week for a tour – and I’d encourage other local schools to contact my office if they’d like to arrange a visit too.”
