Jo has already helped many constituents claim Veterans Badges

Over 7,000 Armed Forces veterans in East Dunbartonshire could still be eligible to claim their Veterans Badge, according to figures received by Jo Swinson.

Figures produced by the Ministry of Defence reveal that on average, 7,200 badges per constituency have not yet been claimed.

Jo said:

“Several ex-Servicemen and women have already contacted me for help in applying for Veterans Badges, but as these new figures show, there are still over 7,000 badges as yet unclaimed by East Dunbartonshire veterans.

“Veterans Badges offer a welcome measure of recognition of the service carried out by ex-members of our Armed Forces.

“I want to encourage anyone with enquiries about the unclaimed badges to contact my office in writing or by phone on 0141 762 2209.”

Enquiries in writing to Jo Swinson’s office should be made to: 4 Springfield House, Emerson Road, Bishopbriggs, G64 1QE
